Legislative Services is responsible for ensuring the Town of High Level meets all of its legislative requirements.
Duties & Services
This department provides services to Council, Town Administration and the general public, including:
- Preparation of all Council Meeting Agendas
- Recording and Distribution of all Council Meeting Minutes
- Maintaining all Council Bylaws, Policies and Directives
- Overseeing Records Management
- Coordination of the Subdivision & Development Appeal Board
- Coordination of the Assessment Review Board
- Planning and organizing of elections
- Coordination of the Municipal Census
- Coordinating recruitment of public members for Council Committees
- Manages cemetery records
- Act as Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FOIPP) Coordinator
