Overview

The High Level Cemetery was established in the 1960’s and today has over 144 grave sites. The cemetery is operated and maintained by the Town of High Level. Additionally, cemetery records are kept by the Town.

Obtaining a Plot

Plots in the Cemetery are available for full casket burials and cremation urns. The High Level Cemetery is non-denominational and available to both residents and non-residents. The Town of High Level is responsible for the opening and closing of graves and maintenance of the Cemetery.  

To apply and obtain a plot at the Cemetery, please visit the Town Hall or call 780-926-2201. A grave plot can also be reserved upon receipt of a completed application and payment at the Town Hall.

Columbarium 

The High Level Columbarium is a freestanding above ground Granite Structure with a locking stainless steel inner liner. The Columbarium is located at the High Level Cemetery, the 48 niche compartments face east and west and can hold up to two urns of average size. 

Niches may be purchased or reserved upon receipt of a completed Application Form and the $500 fee paid in full.
