About Planning & Development
The Planning and Development Department is responsible for overall land use planning and development activity in the Town of High Level. The primary goal of the Department is to build an economically and environmentally sustainable community, with an enhanced quality of life that is focused on improving the future of High Level. The Town is a unique community with a diverse population with needs that evolve over time. The Planning and Development Department is committed to supporting the community’s vision.
The goals of the Planning and Development Department are set out through the Municipal Development Plan, Land Use Bylaw, Policies and Procedures, Inter-Municipal Development Plan and the Community Sustainability Plan.
