Structural Protection
The goal of structural protection is to minimize the impacts of flying embers from wildfires, by removing hazardous materials from homes and setting up sprinkler systems to decrease the chance of fires.
Throughout the duration of the emergency approximately 600 structural firefighters from 40 communities across the province cycled through High Level. At its peak almost 200 structural firefighters were in the area at one time to work on structural protection in the community.
