Northern Lakes College is committed to innovative training and a diverse range of partnerships that include small business, corporations, band and settlement offices, community groups, municipalities, and government agencies across more than one-quarter of the Province of Alberta. Our faculty and staff take pride in delivering relevant, high quality learning opportunities. Distance learning technology remains a key delivery tool, helping us to reach students throughout the region and beyond. Small class sizes, professional instructors, and affordable tuition continue to be important ingredients to our success.
Northern Lakes College offers full-time and part-time programming in upgrading, university studies, career programs, health and human services, resource and oil and gas programs, as well as apprenticeship trades. In addition, Workforce Development caters to the working professional providing short-term, non-credit training in computers, safety, driver training, general interest, career preparation, business, technical, and much more.
The High Level Campus includes 5 classrooms, 11 E-Learning sites, 1 computer room, 1 kitchen and an admin area. The facility employs 1 instructor, 1 University Studies Tutor, 1 Educational Support, 1 Administrative Assistant, 1 Education Counselor, 1 Maintenance Service Worker, and 1 Regional Manager. This campus is a Community Access Point for eCampus Alberta and offers support and access to Ed2go courses. The campus also provides public access to computers.
Career Counseling, Educational Counseling, Academic problem solving support and Financial Information are also available.
