About Councillor Forest
My name is Belinda Forest, and I am honoured to have been elected as a Town Councillor for the Town of High Level. I was Born and raised in this community, and I have watched High Level grow into the beautiful vibrant town it is today. I raised my family here, and now my grandchildren attend our local schools— a connection that makes my commitment to our community even stronger.
I work as an educational assistant at Florence MacDougall Community School, A role truly love. I also serve on several boards and committees.
Outside of Council and work, family is a big part of my life. My husband Rick, and I have been together for over 30 years, and we have three amazing children. My daughter Kayla is married and has seven children. My son Troy is recently engaged and living in Lethbridge, with the wedding planned for next September.
My youngest daughter Mya is in grade 8 at High Level Public School and is passionate about dance. I love watching her shine at competitions.
I also enjoy spending as much time as I can with my grandkids— They inspire me every day and remind me why strong community leadership matters.
As a Councillor, I am Committed to listening, learning, and representing our residents with on honesty, respect, and collaboration. I Look forward to working with council, staff, and the people of High Level to support families, strengthen local programs, and help our community continue to grow and thrive.
