Council History

About Mayor Lambert
I was born and raised in High Level, and I’m proud to now be raising my own family here. Over the past several years, I’ve had the privilege of serving as a Town Councillor, President of the High Level & District Chamber of Commerce, and a volunteer with several local organizations. Through these experiences, one thing has become clear: High Level is a great place to live, and our town has incredible potential.
Four years ago, when I first ran for Council, I said that High Level was no longer just a transient community — families are staying, businesses are investing, and we have every reason to be proud of where we live. That remains true today, but there's still work to do. We continue to face housing shortages, downtown safety concerns, and the need for stronger infrastructure, business growth, and recreational opportunities.
My experience in business, community development, and municipal governance has given me a strong understanding of the challenges we face and the importance of collaboration. With engaged leadership, open communication, and a shared vision, I believe we can continue to move our community forward.
